Pin Point Surveying Ltd. Is seeking an individual to join our growing team, the successful candidate will be required to conduct a wide range of field work in the construction surveying industry, be familiar with survey layout, volume and topographic surveys using both conventional and GPS based methods.

Requirements
- Geomatics Tech diploma/certificate
- Minimum 1 yr. experience
- Ability to work independently
- Self starter with strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, the ability to collect and produce accurate field notes
- Knowledge of Trimble total stations and RTK equipment
- Experience using Trimble Access software
- Ability to multitask and solve problems

A big part of the reason why I like it here is the fact all the people that work here are like one big happy family that really care for one another. If I could only use one word to describe Pin Point Surveying Ltd, that word would be "Flexible". I have watched the firm consistently accommodate clients' changing needs in a deft, quick, professional manner. Similarly, consistently over my 18 years with the firm, Pin Point has been flexible in accommodating changes in my lifestyle, in letting me attend events that I wanted/needed to attend, or in resolving issues I have had in the field. Great to work in a smaller firm where you deal with the principals and support staff directly, and not red tape and hierarchy. And even better that the principals are so flexible and amenable to suggestions.

If allowed two words to describe Pin Point, the second would be atmosphere; a cooperative and congenial one. Help is only a phone call away, be it the office or fellow surveyors. There is a wide range of expertise, and over the years staff have always bent over backwards to help me understand something I need to know. And it feels good to help others when I contribute and it is accepted graciously. In short Pin Point is flexible with staff and clients. And it operates in a cooperative and congenial atmosphere. It's a no brainer why I have stayed so long.
